RFC is committed to pushing for legislation that will force Doctors and Pharmacists to tell their customers and patients, from the start, if they oppose Family planning and Abortion.
We have received frantic phone calls from women of different ages who have found out, at the worst possible time, that their doctor or pharmacist is anti-choice and need help fast.
Women need this information at the beginning of their relationship with a medical professional -- not when they are in crisis and the need for that medical professional's support is critical.
If these working professionals feel so strongly about their positions, then RFC feels they should have no problem posting their positions so new patients and customers can read about their policy before choosing them as their healthcare providers.
In our opinion, it is unconscionable for these professionals to mislead their customers and patients until they really need help. It is also horrifying that 52% of those physicans surveyed in a recent poll were against helping women with abortions after failed conception.
