Jim, We Need You!

Republicans For Choice, this morning, hand-delivered a letter to Senator Jim Jeffords that represented the sentiments of RFC’s 150, 000 members. A copy of the letter and the attachment are attached.

In essence, RFC called on Senator Jeffords to stay in the Republican Party and to stay and work with them as he has done in the past.

We hope we sent the message that if he leaves the Party, the power of those who oppose his views will increase within the GOP.

"We need him to stay within the Party and help us bring the Party back to its roots" said Ann Stone, National Chairman, RFC.

‘We reminded him of the rich heritage of the Republican Party that led us all to become Republicans in the first place. It appears that our Party needs to be reminded of that heritage as well so they can better appreciate the contribution that Jim Jeffords brings to our Party. Let’s hope it’s not too late."
